Tungsten steel stretching mold is a method of mold making, which produces products suitable for one’s own use through product design and processing according to needs. So, how are the specifications set for the products?
(1) Dimensions and locking screws for processing tungsten steel stretching molds
When processing tungsten steel stretching molds, the size of the template should be larger than the working area, and a standard template size should be selected. The position configuration of the template locking screws is related to the type of mold and the size of the template.
Among them, single engineering molds are most commonly equipped with locking screws on the four corners, and the most standard form of working area can be widely used. Long shaped molds and continuous molds are most commonly equipped with locking screws at the corners and middle positions.

(2) The thickness of the template
The thickness selection of the template is absolutely related to the structure of the mold, the type of stamping process, the stamping process force, and the stamping process accuracy.
It is difficult to determine the thickness of a mold based on theoretical calculations, and it is generally obtained through experience. The types of template thickness used in design should be minimized, and standardized in conjunction with mold height and clamping height to facilitate procurement and inventory management.
So in order to produce qualified products through stretching mold processing, we need to choose and design the specifications well at the beginning, so as to have a relatively smooth production process.
